Whether you’re naturally nurturing, a great problem-solver, or simply reliable and kind-hearted, there’s a place for you at Home Instead.

Care isn’t a one-size-fits-all job, and that’s why we value adaptability, compassion, and a genuine passion for making a difference. Our Care Professionals don’t just support clients; they become an extension of their family, ensuring every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and warmth.

What Our Care Professionals Do
At Home Instead, we enable our clients to live independently at home, enjoying life to the fullest. Our Care Professionals have the time to build meaningful connections during visits, which are always at least an hour long.

From helping with personal care, medication, and meal preparation to offering companionship and support, our team ensures that clients feel valued and cared for. The work is about more than just tasks—it’s about forming genuine relationships and helping families navigate the challenges of aging with compassion and understanding.

Meet Our Care Professionals

Pablita’s Story
“I love that Home Instead offers one-hour visits, giving me the time to not only complete necessary tasks but also build meaningful connections with my clients.
After 18 years of childminding, I was ready for a new challenge. Caring for a dear friend in her 80s before she moved into a care home opened my eyes to the world of adult care. That experience led me to Home Instead.
My goal is to bring a little joy into their lives, and it fills me with pride to know I can make a difference by meeting their needs.”

Tinashe’s Story

“I was looking for a few extra hours in the evening to fit in around my full-time job and busy family life! My family work in care and suggested I give it a go, and I liked the idea of giving something back, so I joined as a Home Instead Care Professional.

My day job is working from home, so I don’t see many people face-to-face. As a Home Instead Care Professional, I have the opportunity to get out and see people in my community who can really benefit from my time and company. I have learnt a lot of new skills, and the hours work for me. I feel like I am making a difference with what I do.”

Nichola’s Story

“I was looking for a part-time job with flexible hours. When I saw the role advertised, I thought I’d give it a try since friends often said I was a great listener. Three years on, I’m still loving my job. Everyone has a story to tell, and I feel privileged to hear them.”

Suzanne’s Story

“After years in childcare, I transitioned to adult care after witnessing the care a relative received. That experience showed me what good care should look like, and I realised I could make a difference.
Now, I love the variety—every day is different. I’ve tailored my hours to fit my lifestyle and love of fitness. Building trust with my clients and seeing them relax and enjoy my visits makes it all worthwhile.”
