• Join the Hale U3A. A good way to meet people is to drop into one of their monthly meetings at the Bowdon Rugby Club (The Marquee Room , Clay Lane, Timperley, Altrincham, WA15 7AF). The meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month. Doors open at 1:30pm for a 2pm start meet the group and find out what is going on before joining.

• Church Women’s Fellowship: The Church Women’s Fellowship (CWF) is a thriving group of almost 50 members.  Each year they raise money for a charity or cause through our regular meetings, a coffee morning and a ploughman’s lunch. Meetings are held in the Veranda Room at St Peter’s House at 7.15pm for 7.30pm on the first Monday of the month, it’s friendly and relaxed. New members are always welcome. • Men’s Fella’ship: Open to men of all ages. It is a chance for men to get together socially, chat and get to know each other.
