- Complete pedicure and manicure services, including nail trimming, filing, and cuticle maintenance
- Gentle cleansing of your hands and feet
- A soothing massage for your hands, arms, feet, and lower legs to promote blood flow and reduce stress, followed by a rich moisturiser
- A coat of nail polish if you’d like!
Our friendly professionals are fully trained in high-quality nail care, so you can be sure your loved ones are safe.
More importantly, they offer companionship, which can be especially important for those less active in the community. Regular visits from our team ensure top-notch nail care and meaningful connections.
Home Instead's Lauren Mitchell Went to Meet with Rosemary During a Nail Care Visit
Rosemary, a cherished member of our Home Instead family since 2020, has formed beautiful friendships with her care professionals. They have come to know her so well that when our new nail care service was introduced, Rosemary’s name was among the first to be mentioned.
Rosemary has always been a very well-put-together lady, and her appearance is important to her. “I’ve always had nice nails, and I want to keep them up.”

We focus on each client’s unique needs and preferences, helping them maintain their self-worth and identity, even as their needs change. Rosemary’s treatment today focused on cleaning, filing, shaping, and applying polish to her fingernails. However, as a tailored service, we can include a pedicure with nail trimming or filing and a foot and leg massage.
The benefits of massage therapy for dementia and Alzheimer’s can also help to minimise feelings of confusion and anxiety.
Rosemary commented during her nail treatment, “The good thing with Home Instead is that they always remember my birthday, and they really know how to look after someone; this is a real treat!”
