“I used Home Instead to help care for my late wife who suffered from advanced dementia. I found them to be professional and caring. Emma took time to fully understand our needs and introduced us to the carer Ally. Ally was very kind and extremely caring and I very quickly gained the confidence to leave my wife alone with Ally knowing that she would be well looked after while I was out. “ – C. Edwards.

For more than 13 years, we have been delivering adult day care services in Ascot, Camberley, and Wokingham. We have established ourselves as a reliable provider that collaborates closely with families and clients throughout this time.
Our Care Professionals undergo rigorous background checks and receive award-winning training. They are chosen not only for their skills but also for their genuine empathy and dedication to supporting those in their care, often stemming from their own experiences as primary caregivers.
Meet Kundi, who is a shining example of our care staff. Her compassion is at the forefront of every interaction with her client, Brian, and he trusts her in every aspect of his home care.
We’ve worked very hard to create a network of partners to help your loved one find social connections. For example, we can help you attend visits with senior services likedementia cafes, community events, and seasonal activities.
We also host our own events, from meet-ups, talks (like how to prevent hospitalisations), and Christmas parties to sing-alongs. Clients and families are always invited to join where they wish.
Our network also includes contacts at local charity teams, such as AGE UK Surrey, Dementia UK, and Parkinson’s Support UK.
So, whatever you need, we can provide you with the additional support that helps you keep Mum and Dad thriving.
Elderly day care offers two essential benefits: one is support with daily household tasks and personal care, which can become increasingly difficult as individuals age; the other is the opportunity for social interaction and engagement. Both aspects are vital for maintaining a positive sense of self, influencing how we perceive ourselves, our surroundings, and how we believe others perceive us.
At Home Instead, we prioritise this deeply. We aim to ensure that every senior feels recognised, appreciated, and valued.
We are happy to provide adult day care services to anyone in Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham who needs short-term or long-term support, regardless of age. We also fully support those with impairments and disabilities.
In some instances, day care services may qualify for funding from local councils or NHS continuing healthcare (CHC). However, due to the chronic underfunding and resource constraints in social care, comprehensive services might not always be accessible.
Home Instead offers private day care options, which can be partially covered by local authority funding. You don’t need a referral from a GP or hospital to engage our services. Simply reach out to us at 01276 903106.
Our prices can vary based on the specific services you require and how long you need assistance. For instance, a few hours of companionship every few weeks can start at approximately £150. Call us, and our care team will assist you in finding the best solution for your needs.
At Home Instead, day care services can usually be in place within a few days of a home visit.
