There are three types of overnight care at home.
At Home Instead, Ascot, Camberley and Wokingham, we will ensure your overnight care services cater to your individual circumstances from the moment we meet you.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.
Companionship care
We carefully match Care Professionals with clients to ensure a meaningful bond is created.
Home help & meal prep
Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and nourishing with home-cooked meals.
Personal care
Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always respecting the dignity of your loved one.
Mobility support
Helping your loved one move around their home safely, including transfers and positioning.
Health appointment management
We support you to attend those important health appointments.
Community engagement
We enable you to continue to do the things you enjoy, be it a visit to the garden centre or your local art group.
Transportation
Assistance getting you from A to B, whether it be to go visit a friend or help with your shopping.
Medication management
Ensuring medicines are taken correctly and on time, supporting overall health.
We understand that your overnight care requirements call for a tailored approach, so we have set up our teams to help those living with dementia, at risk of falls, experiencing limited mobility, or requiring assistance with a catheter or medication management. By personalising the care we provide, we can ensure they feel nurtured and supported in the most effective manner.
When David’s wife had a hip operation, we put in waking nights as some reassurance for him, as he lives with Parkinson’s. The difference Deborah, our care professional, has made has been life-changing. He now feels much more comfortable and secure to rest as he needs it.

For over 13 years, we have proudly offered dependable live-in care services in Ascot, Camberley, and Wokingham. Throughout this time, we have earned a reputation for reliability.
Our Care Professionals are subjected to thorough background checks and receive exceptional training. Each team member is selected for their profound understanding and commitment to supporting those they care for, often drawing from their own experiences as primary caregivers.
Meet Jacqui, an outstanding member of our care staff. Her genuine compassion and empathy shine through in every interaction with her clients, fostering a relationship of trust in all aspects of their home care.
We are incredibly proud to offer local connections to partners who can benefit Mum or Dad’s care. For example, we can help you attend visits with senior services like dementia cafes, community events, and seasonal activities. We also host a number of our own social events, from meet-ups, talks (like how to prevent hospitalisations), and Christmas parties to sing-alongs.
We also have connections with local charity teams, including AGE UK Surrey, Dementia UK and Parkinson’s Support UK.
So, whatever you need, we can provide you with the additional support that helps you keep Mum and Dad thriving.
Overnight care offers vital assistance for people with medical and non-medical needs who might struggle independently. The primary advantage of this support is the sense of comfort, security, and quality sleep we can help deliver.
For example, suppose your loved one has recently had a fall or been in hospital. In that case, they may need some overnight assistance to ensure their safety. Just as those experiencing memory loss or a decline in their health may benefit from overnight support for tasks such as bathing, dressing, or using the bathroom.
This type of care also delivers respite for primary caregivers, offering temporary relief or ongoing support tailored to a specific condition.
Depending on the type of overnight care you require, your overnight carer will need a comfortable place to sit, either close to or in the bedroom of the person they care for. If they provide sleeping night care, they will need a private bedroom with a comfortable bed.
We can advise you during a no-obligation home visit if you need to adjust a current setup.
