Social club for older individuals that meets every Monday from 9:30 – 15:00. Unlock your creative side with different craft activities or enjoy the magic of music and sing along to your favourite songs. There are also other games, bingo, and quizzes to keep our minds tickling while enjoying the company of friends. For the ones who would like to keep their physical health in check, there are chair-based exercises that will improve muscle and joint strength, balance, and coordination. Full cooked lunch is included as well. This is a non-profit organisation and there is a charge for attending the club. If you need transport, the club organises local pick up and drop offs.

From our own experience, we know the powerful and positive effect music has on our overall wellbeing. Listening and singing our favourite songs have a calming effect which leads to reduced anxiety and stress levels. Music can improve our cognitive skills and improves our mood. As The Harmony Club in Long Crendon believe that music brings people together, they meet on the last Tuesday of the month from 10:00 – 12:00 noon. You can stay for a home-cooked lunch afterward. Gardening has many benefits for both our mental and physical health. It’s a fun and enjoyable form of exercise that can improve mobility, endurance, flexibility, and encourages the use of all motor skills. It is good for nutritional care and psychological wellbeing too. Socialising by joining a gardening group, making friends, and enjoying quality time with family or a Care Professional can make it all the more fun.
Wing Gardening Club meets every second Tuesday of the month at 19:30. You will gain knowledge and get to visit different gardens. There are plant sales, practical demonstrations, and more.

If you’d like to take on a new challenge learning to use computers or would like to upgrade your skills, you can join the Learn My Way Computer Lessons at Wendover Library. They are free and running on the first Tuesday of each month. Learning the basics of computers is a valuable skill even in the later life stages. It’s a great way of self-entertaining, and you can find information about everything that interests you. You can keep in touch with friends and family from a distance, do your weekly shopping, or manage your money. Another amazing way to keep your mind busy at Wendover Library is learning the basics of a foreign language. International Conversation Coffee Morning is a successful monthly event, where people of all ages gather together to learn from each other. As well as learning a new language, you can exchange knowledge about different cultures, and worldwide cuisines, and most importantly, establish new friendships.
