We’re just over a month into 2025 and we’ve had such a successful year so far! From our glowing PEAQ results to winning several prestigious awards at the Home Instead UK National Conference, we’ve started 2025 off with a bang.

Workbuzz 5 Star Employer Award

As a result of our outstanding Care Professional feedback in 2024, Our Sheffield South office received a Five Star Employer Award from Workbuzz.

The annual Pursuing Excellence by Advancing survey is sent out to all Home Instead Care Professionals and clients across the nation; we then use this feedback locally to improve our services and employee experience.

As passionate advocates of employee wellbeing, we were delighted to be recognised for our commitment to creating a supportive and positive workplace.  97% of our Care Professionals said they were proud to work for Home Instead, while 96% said they would recommend Home Instead as a great place to work.

Home Instead Live 2025

Our management team had a fantastic time at the Home Instead national conference at the end of January. Dressed to the nines, they embarked on 48 hours of business development, informative workshops and a celebration of the company over the last twelve months.

The Sheffield North and Barnsley offices picked up the prestigious Presidential I award for business growth, and Sheffield South secured Presidential III.

Lynette, our Learning and Development Manager, was asked to perform in a workshop session about navigating difficult conversations in the social care in front of franchise staff from all over the UK.

Senior Key Player of the Year

Our crowning achievement was Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley General Manager, Alison Taylor, being awarded Senior Key Player of the Year. Throughout 2024, Alison worked with the team to open the Training Centre of Excellence in South Sheffield and has spearheaded an incredible amount of growth within the business.

“It was such an honour to win this award and for my work to be recognised – but it’s not about me, it’s about all of those of us who show up with compassion, dedication, and a shared mission to make a difference.” said Alison in her acceptance speech.

We are so proud of what we have achieved so far and can’t wait to see what the rest of 2025 brings for us!
