We offer personalised in-home care services in the Overton area, including South Litchfield, North Waltham and other nearby villages. Our services will be carefully crafted to meet your unique needs, whether you are looking for companionship or someone to take you out, daily assistance with your personal care, or longer periods of support through full days, overnights or live-in care. We have particular expertise in supporting people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and various other conditions.
Our elderly care support will be delivered through our relationship-based approach whereby every client receives a consistent and person-centred service delivered by a small dedicated team of carefully selected carers.
Loss of the use of their car can have a devastating effect on an elderly person’s sense of independence, particularly in small rural communities. Our care packages often combine some personal care and help around the house with an outing to go shopping, attend community activities or just to go for a drive.
William lived alone in North Waltham. Due to deterioration of his eyesight he was no longer able to drive, and was finding it increasingly difficult to prepare meals and do essential housework. Our carers would change the bed, put on the washing and then take William wherever he wanted to go that day; sometimes it would be to Festival Place in Basingstoke, other times it might be to a pub like The Fox Inn in Ellisfield for lunch.

We aim to recruit carers who really care about providing a good service to the elderly. We provide them with thorough training encompassing background knowledge, eg about ageing and conditions like dementia, and the skills to support clients in a way that respects dignity and choice, and promotes independence.
Katie reviewed our care for her grandmother, who was living with dementia in Overton, by saying: “I cannot thank the team enough. They were incredibly kind and considerate not only to my nan but also to me. Not only did they do a fabulous job caring for my nan, but they also spent the time to think of ways to improve her well-being, provide me with advice, and support us both through other tough times.”
Overton is a large village in north Hampshire, about eight miles west of Basingstoke, incorporating the hamlets of Southington, Northington, Ashe, Polhampton and Quidhampton. It sits on the River Test, whose source is just a mile away from the village centre.
Overton has a history of banknote paper manufacturing, and until recently the Overton Mill produced high security paper for the Bank of England and over 150 other national currencies. The location of the mill at Quidhampton has been put forward as the origin of the colloquial term “Quid” for £1, but there are several other contenders for that claim to fame.
You can’t visit Overton Mill, but we have compiled some other tours and experiences around north Hampshire for you.
