Get to know our new Community Engagement officer, Tina Hilpert
It’s not very often we have the opportunity to be joined by a colleague with experience from another Home Instead office, but when Tina decided to relocate from Newcastle to Hull that’s just what we got! It was perfect timing for us too!
I am the Community Engagement Officer and a Recruiter for Home Instead, working across both the Beverley & Hull and Pocklington & Brough offices. My job is to build relationships with local organisations, attend events, and raise awareness of Home Instead’s services. I can also support families by providing information on care options, recruit and onboard Care Professionals, and promote our specialised services like Nail Care and dementia support.
Previously, I was Head of People at Home Instead Newcastle, where I managed Community Engagement, Recruitment, and HR. Additionally, I am a qualified Counsellor and passionate about the wellbeing of people.
“To us, it’s personal” reflects Home Instead’s commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
For me it means:
Building genuine relationships – engaging with families, caregivers, and the community to truly understand their needs.
Providing tailored support – Whether it’s recruitment, nail care, or Dementia support, I want to ensure services are delivered with care and empathy.
Making a real difference – My role goes beyond logistics; I want to help people feel valued, supported, and empowered.
It’s not just a job—it’s about making a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
I am a family-oriented person who loves spending time with my partner, children, and grandchildren. Outside of work, I love baking, cooking, and getting creative with DIY projects. I also have a deep love for animals and enjoy the joy they bring to my everyday life. I love watching documentaries and crime shows.
