With many of our team based in Hull, we can respond swiftly to the evolving needs of our clients and new home care requests. If a client becomes unwell, we can arrange additional visits promptly, ensuring they receive the care they need until they recover. Our in-home care services range from just a couple of visits per week for companionship and peace of mind for family members living far away, to several visits a day, or even live in care, all tailored to help clients maintain their independence and remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Whatever the need, we are committed to delivering flexible and bespoke care for all our clients.
Hull’s many local neighbourhoods are a great place to grow older with lots of amenities and a strong community spirit. However, as we age, accessing these services can present challenges. Enjoyable shopping trips to popular spots like St Stephens or Anlaby retail park can become difficult as driving or taking public transport becomes more challenging. Our team supports clients with their shopping, often enjoying a sit down and a cup of tea at the café for a well needed rest. When a client doesn’t fancy taking a trip out or is simply unable to, our helpful Care Professionals can shop on their behalf if preferred. We also assist clients to attend appointments as well as collecting medications from local pharmacies.

As the only care provider in Hull and surrounding villages to win the Homecare.co.uk “Top 20” Award for 4 years straight, we are confident that our Care Professionals provide the highest quality of care in the area. With visits of at least one-hour and a consistent, small team of Care Professionals assigned to the same clients each week, we ensure reliable, high-quality support. Our team of Care Professionals are well supported by the office staff, both in the field and at the office. We are committed to the ongoing development of our Care Professionals, promoting regular training to upskill and equip them with specialised knowledge, such as catheters, stomas, or compression stockings.
Many of our clients have spent much of their lives in Hull and the surrounding villages, making the area deeply familiar to them. Staying connected to the community is essential in combatting loneliness and enhancing well-being. A simple drive or walk into the local high street with one of our Care Pros can evoke treasured memories. We actively encourage clients to join local activities and groups such as the Butterflies Memory Loss group, or one of many groups hosted by Hull Churches Home from Hospital to name a few. Home Instead are proud to play our part by hosting our own Companionship Lunch event monthly at the Manor Farm pub in Willerby. All are welcome to this fun afternoon of food, conversation and a good game of Bingo!
