After your initial consultation, we aim to begin care within two weeks, ensuring timely support for those who need it. Our conveniently located office on Basin Road North allows us to respond swiftly and efficiently to care needs across the area. Portslade’s location along the A259 coastal road provides excellent connectivity, making it easy for clients to travel to Worthing or central Brighton with the support of a Care Professional, whether by car or public transport. We also assist clients in accessing local amenities on Boundary Road, such as Well Pharmacy and Kamsons Pharmacy, supporting their independence – whether they prefer to collect medication themselves or have it collected by their Care Professional.
A great example of our person-centred care is Judith, a client who regularly enjoys walks to Hove Lagoon with her Care Professional, Sophie. These outings, which often include watching water sports and visiting the Big Beach Café, help Judith stay active while keeping her connected to the local community she cherishes. In the summer, they take leisurely strolls along the coastal path, admiring the brightly coloured Hove beach huts. Judith particularly enjoys chatting with other locals and watching dog owners walk their pets. This highlights our commitment to providing more than just essential care – we strive to enrich our clients’ lives through meaningful activities and genuine social interaction.

We actively contribute to the Portslade community through various initiatives, including our Love to Move and Time to Chat sessions, which run monthly at Southwick Community Centre and Tower House Day Centre. Our Tea and Something Lovely events have featured entertainment from Blatchington Mill School, Dementia Singing Experience Sussex and Movingsounds, creating opportunities for social interaction and entertainment. We also publish biannual ‘What’s on Where’ Community Services and Wellbeing Guides, providing valuable information about local activities and health resources for older adults in both West and East Brighton areas, ensuring our clients remain connected to the vibrant community around them.
