At Home Instead Bristol East, companionship care is about more than just a friendly visit; it’s about building genuine connections and supporting clients to enjoy their independence. We understand the difference a familiar, reliable face can make. Our visits are always a minimum of an hour, giving clients and Care Professionals time to chat, engage in favourite activities, and spend quality time together. Without uniforms, our Care Professionals bring a warmth and informality that clients often tell us feels more like seeing a friend or family member.

What truly sets our companionship care in Bristol apart is continuity. We match clients with Care Professionals who suit their personality and interests, and who arrive each time with up-to-date notes on their preferences and needs. Our Care App provides families with access to visit notes, offering reassurance and the chance to stay connected, even if they live outside of Bristol. Families often tell us how meaningful it is to see their loved ones come out of their shell and regain that spark through regular social interaction, shared outings, and genuine companionship.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.
