We know that familiarity and continuity matter. That’s why we’re careful to match each client with a Care Professional who shares their interests and values, and who’ll visit regularly to form a real bond. With rates starting from £34.50 per hour, our service is focused on quality and consistency, unlike many other providers who offer shorter, task-focused “pop-in” visits. As one Client’s son shared on homecare.co.uk, “Home Instead has been excellent and reliable, always flexible to my mum’s changing needs.” This approach means that if needs evolve, we can add more support, from additional companionship hours to more comprehensive support as needed.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

This approach promotes independence, helping clients stay active and connected to their community, which, in turn, makes it possible for them to stay at home longer.

Our local team, led by Rachel James and Andrew Wood whose own parents are in their 90s, our Care Manager, Rebecca, and our Registered Manager, Anne-Marie, all take a personal interest in ensuring each Client’s needs are fully understood and met. Our Care Professionals are highly trained and chosen for their compassionate nature. With our recruiter Liz, we use what we call the “mum and dad test” – only hiring those we’d trust with our own family.
We love being part of North Bristol’s vibrant community, co-hosting popular Senior Film Clubs in Downend and Henleaze.
