Good companionship keeps people connected to what they love doing, with Care Professionals who support independence by sharing activities rather than taking over across Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate. Our owner, Wafa understands this personally, having worked for six years as a Care Professional herself before taking ownership in July 2024. Our team comes from diverse backgrounds but shares one thing in common – a natural gift for bringing warmth and understanding to every visit. We’re proud of our CQC rating and 9.9/10 homecare.co.uk reviews, earned through these meaningful relationships that help maintain independence and wellbeing.

We do things differently at Home Instead – our Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms, making trips to Botany Bay or Broadstairs for lunch feel like an outing with a friend. We often find this reduces any discomfort of receiving care and helps clients feel much more at ease. We focus on doing things with our clients, not just for them – whether that’s tackling a difficult crossword together, popping out to the Turner Contemporary Museum, or a trip to Youngs Nurseries to pick up some new plants for the garden together. Each Care Professional is carefully matched with clients who share similar interests, creating natural friendships that help our clients continue doing what they love.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

The impact of companionship really shows in our homecare.co.uk reviews. One client shared how “regular carers who know her well and know how she likes to be supported” have helped her continue living independently. Another family member noted how their mum’s anxiety decreased because “the same carers are with Mum each day so a great rapport is built.” These genuine relationships make such a difference to our clients’ well-being and ability to continue living independently.
