Christmas presents and a festive singalong at our December Companionship Cafe

Visitors to our December Companionship Cafe at The Brighouse Rest Centre enjoyed a festive singalong and received a Christmas present thanks to some fantastic donations.

The teams at Calderdale Sports & Leisure Centres kindly donated presents for our Cafe visitors

Our charity partners Re-engage played the role of Santa Claus, working closely with Brighouse and Sowerby Bridge Sports & Leisure centres to gather present donations for the elderly and then donating them to our Cafe visitors.

A rousing and joyous singalong followed the gift-giving.  Everyone joined in with festive favourites including Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and our favourite traditional carols. Plus a little dancing from Home Instead client Susan, who was brought by the team at Home Instead.
