Home Instead Calderdale’s team of qualified Care Professionals provide high quality, personalised domicillary day care for seniors or any adult who needs additional support at home. Our care is bespoke and adapts to each person’s requirements while always focusing on helping them live happy and healthy lives in their own homes. We always provide a familiar face and all visits last for a minimum of one hour to give time and attention to each person’s needs.

As well as supporting an older person’s physical needs and providing personal care, we can assist with enhancing mobility through a programme of gentle exercise, providing activities to improve mental health, alleviating loneliness through companionship as well as keeping elderly people safe, independent and connected to their communities.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.
Companionship care
We carefully match Care Professionals with clients to ensure a meaningful bond is created.
Home help & meal prep
Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and nourishing with home-cooked meals.
Personal care
Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always respecting the dignity of your loved one.
Mobility support
Helping your loved one move around their home safely, including transfers and positioning.
Health appointment management
We support you to attend those important health appointments.
Community engagement
We enable you to continue to do the things you enjoy, be it a visit to the garden centre or your local art group.
Transportation
Assistance getting you from A to B, whether it be to go visit a friend or help with your shopping.
Medication management
Ensuring medicines are taken correctly and on time, supporting overall health.
We monitor all home visits via our Home Instead Mobile App and only recruit people who genuinely want to care, matching them to each client so that high quality relationships can result. After every visit, our team update the App with brief details of what has happened during the hour-long visit and any specific needs or issues that have arisen. Our office team check in regularly to make sure that the calls have happened, that calls were on-time and lasted the full hour that is at the heart of our home care service and that any reported issues can be speedily resolved or raised with family members.
