Ageing Well At Llanishen Leisure Centre

At Home Instead Cardiff, we are committed to ensuring all local vulnerable, or older people, are given the chance to remain happy, healthy and connected.

We often work in collaboration with Cardiff Council, the NHS and Third Sector organisations to achieve this.

We work in a preventative way to help keep pressures mounting up in our NHS and social care systems.

In October we worked with Elizabeth Baker from Cardiff Council’s Wellbeing Team at Llanishen Leisure Centre.

We were located in reception and were on hand to give out supportive information to the older attendees of the centre.

We had many conversations and were able to give out several information leaflets and guides both from Cardiff Council and Home Instead.

In the Cardiff area we run a lovely Memory café in the Whitchurch area and also offer menopause support at Rhiwbina.
