Celebrating The Euros At Whitchurch Memory Café

In July Suzie from Rise ran an exciting football session where we celebrated the Euros which were taking place.

We honed our ball skills, exercised our brains with the quick quiz questions interspersed along the way, and then enjoyed a very close run match between our two teams.

Everyone got to hold the winner’s cup at the end, as they all worked so hard to score goals.

Our Professional guests this month were –

Rebecca Grace Ford from Age Cymru – Age Cymru | We are the national charity for older people in Wales (ageuk.org.uk)

Cat Brown from Cardiff Council’s Unpaid Carer Befriending service – (insert flyer attached)

Gareth Rees from the Museums Inspiring Memories project run by Museum Wales – Museums Inspiring Memories – Working for Dementia | Museum Wales

They all gave us information about their services and Gareth had brought in some very interesting museum objects for the group to see.
