Dancing Time At The Whitchurch Home Instead Memory Café
In April we were thrilled to have Sophie from Rubicon Dance lead a seated dance session for our group.
We had a wonderful time doing short seated dance routines that would gently exercise most of our bodies.
For those who felt they could, people could also stand up and dance as they were able.
We had one star of the show who has a background in dance and she joyfully encouraged lots of those who were seated to dance with her by holding their hands.
Movement is key to falls prevention and general wellbeing and this is an enjoyable and fun way to do it.
