Music Fun At Whitchurch Memory Café

In August we had Jackie Ayres from the Alzheimer’s Society run a fun packed musical session for us.

We started with Musical Bingo and then went on the play the bucket drums and bells.

By the end, we all felt like the percussion section of a band  great fun!

Our Professional Guests were Helen Payton – Dementia Advisor from Alzheimer’s Society – Dementia Support Service (Cardiff and Vale) (dewis.wales)

Bethan Francis from Cardiff Council  – Befriending Services for unpaid carers  – email  –  [email protected] or call on 07977 729249 to find out more.

Jo Sutton from Welsh Ambulance Services who took feedback and ideas from our group to help improve their services – Have Your Say – Submit Your Feedback. – Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust

As a home care provider in Cardiff we understand the need for a variety of support for dementia patients.

This is why we work so closely with outside community partners and offer taster sessions and regular Professional Guest slots.

If you’d like to join our sessions, email Chrissy on [email protected] to register your interest or call the office on 02920 569483 to find out more.
