Why Dementia Care may be right for you

Home care is often the best option for people living with dementia. It keeps them at home in familiar surroundings and prevents separation from partners, friends and family. Our dementia care at home approach can offer support that grows as a loved one’s needs change, moving through companionship, to medication and personal care as the condition progresses. We can also offer respite visits so that a spouse or partner can go out and “recharge their batteries” safe in the knowledge that their regular care professional is entertaining their partner. Our service is responsive and can react to sudden changes in care needs.

Tailored Dementia Care in Cardiff North

We recognise that it can be tough for family dementia carers supporting a relative and we are on hand to be an additional resource to help support you.
Our care professional Sandra was taking a lovely lady out for a few hours a week of companionship and for a coffee in Whitchurch, her client’s sleep patterns became disrupted and we were able to add two overnight visits per week so that her husband could catch up on his rest and continue in his role as his wife’s primary carer.
We had a team of four wonderful care professionals who kept a lady with no immediate family living in her own home for eight years in her own home in Penylan, helping her to avoid going into residential care and leaving her beloved home.
