Home care is designed to support the care of older adults within the home they love, and flexible packages can be arranged to include specific services, delivered as either visiting care or live-in care. Our Care Professionals take time to learn the exact health and mobility needs of older adults, and get to know how they like things done.
Person-centred, tailored home care packages can combine multiple services, such as:

How to get started arranging a home care package
We understand it can be daunting to get started with home care if you have a very specific combination of health needs. Our experienced, friendly Care Professionals put you in the driving seat, enabling you to create the exact package of care that will keep you healthy, happy and comfortable in your own home.
If you don’t yet know what your care needs may be, our vast experience can help you discover the best combination of services for you, whether that means starting small with a couple of hours a week, arranging immediate live-in care, or bringing in respite care to take over from a regular caregiver. Our helpful office staff are on hand to answer questions, discuss the process, and help you design a package to suit you.

Before joining Home Instead, I built a comprehensive career in the social care sector, beginning in 1991 as a frontline care worker and advancing to senior leadership roles across both private and voluntary sector businesses.
Throughout my career, I have supported diverse care groups in a variety of settings, including community, residential, nursing, and secure environments. My experience spans working with older adults, including those living with dementia; individuals with physical disabilities and complex, long-term health needs; people with learning disabilities, including autism; individuals with enduring mental health challenges; individuals with current or past substance use and those with forensic backgrounds.
In 2002, I qualified as a social worker and have since maintained my professional registration with Social Work England.
