As we approach Dementia Action Week 2024, we at Home Instead Central Hampshire are deeply committed to raising awareness and supporting those living with dementia in our community.
From Monday, May 13th to Sunday, May 19th, we are proud to host a series of events aimed at promoting understanding, compassion, and empowerment. Dementia is a condition that impacts millions of lives worldwide, yet it is often misunderstood and stigmatised. That’s why events like Dementia Action Week are so crucial. They provide an opportunity for us to come together as a community, to learn, to share, and to support one another.
Raising awareness is about more than just spreading information; it’s about fostering empathy and understanding. It’s about breaking down barriers and creating a more inclusive society where everyone feels valued and supported, regardless of their cognitive abilities.
