Our approach to companionship is refreshingly different. We don’t wear uniforms, making visits feel more like spending time with a friend than a formal care service. Whether it’s enjoying a cup of tea together, heading to a local garden centre, or topping up the bird feeder in the garden together, we focus on doing things with our clients, not just for them. Every visit lasts at least an hour, giving plenty of time to really get to know each other and engage in meaningful activities. This relaxed approach helps our clients feel comfortable and promotes their independence.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

The value of our companionship care comes through in our clients’ feedback on homecare.co.uk. One family member shared: “All the carers were professional, punctual and charming. It was a pleasure to meet them and my father appreciated their visits and company – they provide more than a care service: they also became friends with my father.” Another wrote about how their loved one now looks forward to regular visits, helping them stay connected and engaged with life.

Our Care Professionals receive thorough training to support you or your loved one, going beyond just spending time together. They’re skilled at noticing those subtle changes in wellbeing – perhaps spotting if someone’s not eating well or seeming less steady on their feet – so we can address concerns with the family early. Our local office team, led by Natasha Warren with over 20 years’ healthcare experience, is always on hand to adjust support as needed. Each Care Professional is carefully selected, fully employed by us, and undergoes comprehensive background checks and reference checks before joining our team.
