We couldn't help to connect so many older adults to their communities without our amazing fundraisers. Our supporters jump out of planes, climb mountains, bake cakes, run, swim, and cycle, all to raise money for our charity.
Our charity is really lucky to have an amazing network of supporters and fundraisers from across the UK. Supporters hold bakes sales, Christmas fayres and a whole host of other activities to raise funds to support their local communities.
In addition, our charity also hosts events such as the Home Instead Annual Golf Day, and our Carols by Candlelight event at Manchester Cathedral.
We actively encourage people to raise funds to support our work in the local community. The simple fact is that we are not able to run our services or give out grants to local community groups without the fundraising people do to support our work.
Our ability to support more and more people is only limited by the income we have available. Last year we were only able to support a third of applications for funding to the charity… we want to be able to support everyone! Can you help us?
“I am passionate about supporting the work of our charity, Home Instead Charities. Taking part in events and getting involved in fundraising is a really great way to raise income but also to keep me connected to my local community, and give me a real sense of achievement in that I make a difference to the world for ageing adults. If running a half marathon helps to bring a smile to an older person, its worth every step”
