This month, we were honoured to attend prestigious events such as the Dementia Care Awards and Stars of Social Care Awards in London, where we proudly accepted the Dementia Friendly Business award.

These achievements reflect our dedication to excellence in care and our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. We are so proud of our hardworking key players and Care Professionals who are the real driving force behind this success. As we continue our journey, we look forward to further enriching our community and providing compassionate care that enhances quality of life for seniors and their families.

We also celebrated our team spirit with an exciting office photoshoot day. Our dedicated team gathered to update headshots and capture lovely team pictures that reflect our unity and commitment to exceptional care. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the faces behind our compassionate services and highlight the camaraderie that drives our mission forward.

Our director Charlotte Johnson invited 6 of our Care Professionals for a Luxury Afternoon Tea to celebrate over 5 years of service with Home Instead.

This was a delightful afternoon full of enriching conversations about the difference they make in our clients lives and celebrating their hard work and achievements with delicious cake and coffee.

• Create a Safe Environment: Modify the living space to prevent falls and accidents. Simple changes like removing tripping hazards, installing grab bars in the bathroom, and ensuring good lighting can significantly enhance safety and independence at home.
• Maintain Regular Health Check-Ups: Routine medical check-ups help in early detection and management of health issues. Encourage regular visits to healthcare providers and stay updated on vaccinations and screenings recommended for seniors.
• Foster Emotional Well-being: Mental health is as important as physical health. Provide emotional support, encourage open communication, and seek professional help if needed.
