Celebrating our birthday
It’s our birthday! At Home Instead Chesterfield, we’re thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone – 13 years of providing exceptional care to older adults in our community in and around Chesterfield and Dronfield.
Our journey began in 2011 when our owner and manager, Stephanie, transitioned from a 30-year nursing career to establish Home Instead Chesterfield.
Reflecting on the positive impact we’ve made together, we’re grateful for the dedication of our Care Professionals and office team, and the wonderful clients we have been privileged to care for (many of whom we saw at our summer party this year).

This longstanding commitment to quality care is built upon the tireless efforts of all our Care Professionals and dedicated office staff, whose passion and dedication are at the heart of everything we do.
Among our outstanding team are individuals who have been pivotal since our early days. A heartfelt thank you goes to those marking six years with us, each contributing passionately to our mission of transforming the face of ageing and supporting older people’s wishes to stay at home. And to our team member whose nine years with us have flown by. We are profoundly grateful for your unwavering commitment and dedication.

To add a cherry on the birthday cake, we are delighted to announce that Home Instead Chesterfield has been shortlisted as a finalist in the East Midlands Region for the prestigious 2024 Great British Care Awards in the Home Care Team category.
These awards cast a spotlight on excellence across the UK's care sector, and our nomination is a glowing endorsement of the care and devotion consistently demonstrated by our team.
Celebrating our achievements
This year we were placed again in the prestigious 2024 ‘Top 20 Rated Home Care Provider’ award for East Midlands. As our owner Steph explains “The homecare awards are given based on the experiences of the people we’re here to support: our clients and their families. Winning this award is a testament to our hardworking care professionals and care support team who make it possible for older people in the community to continue living where they love best: the home.”
Receiving an outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is another accolade we’re particularly proud of. It shows our unwavering commitment to high-quality, compassionate care, a commitment that permeates through each personalised care plan we develop. We take immense pride in recognising the unique needs and preferences of each client we care for, and delivering home care at the highest standards.
