Read more about Home Instead Chesterfield's client summer party. Discover how our compassionate approach to home care promotes well-being, and personalised support.
Late this August, we gathered our wonderful clients at St Thomas’s Church on Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield, for a fun and heartwarming summer party. The church hall was filled with music, chatter, laughter, and shared moments that perfectly captured the supportive and friendly community we value at Home Instead Chesterfield.
Our summer party was lots of fun, we had music from different decades creating a lively atmosphere, encouraging conversations, toe-tapping and even a bit of dancing. We welcomed all our guests warmly, to create a friendly atmosphere of inclusion and happiness. As home care experts, we truly understand the positive impact of social engagement on our overall well-being.
All our clients were invited and welcomed, coming to spend time together, from their homes in and around Chesterfield and Dronfield. Our party guests also included our fabulous Care Professionals, who are familiar faces to our clients, as they regularly visit the same clients at home. Our hosts included our Home Instead Chesterfield owner Stephanie and other valued members of the Chesterfield office team. A special guest Tracey Barnes from Dancing for Health was also invited to lead a chairobics session, adding something fun to the day!
No British gathering would be complete without a cup of tea! Our guests enjoyed delicious sandwiches, cups of tea and a slice of cake. Then we all enjoyed a raffle, with everyone eager to win the biggest box of chocolates, adding more smiles to the day. Finally we also introduced chairobics—a gentle, seated exercise that combines fitness with fun. This activity was a hit, allowing everyone to stay active in a light-hearted, low-impact way, and perfect for those with limited mobility.
At Home Instead Chesterfield, we recognise that each of our clients is unique, from older adults to younger adults who also need support. We are passionate about the work we do and the meaningful relationships we build, and events like our summer party are a wonderful way to celebrate these connections!
Our approach is centred around treating every client as the individual they are, with their own needs and preferences. For some, this might mean a little extra help each week from a visiting Care Professional, whether it’s assisting with household tasks or providing companionship for social outings. For others, it could involve more specialised support, such as personal care, medication reminders, catheter care, or dementia care—whatever is needed to help them live comfortably and independently at home while staying engaged with their community.
Our goal is simple: to provide compassionate, personalised holistic care that enhances the quality of life for each of our clients.
Rated as “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and highly reviewed on platforms like homecare.co.uk, Home Instead Chesterfield is dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Our approach goes beyond meeting basic needs, it’s about enhancing the quality of life for every client and giving peace of mind to families.
“Excellent care was provided for my parents. Friendly staff who give my parents good companionship as well as doing jobs for them. They have built up a good relationship with them as it’s the same few staff who visit which gives us peace of mind that their needs are being properly catered for.”
