Meaningful relationships can’t be rushed—that’s why our Care Professionals spend at least an hour with each person rather than the brief 15-minute visits that have become common in care. Across Chesterfield, Dronfield, and Hope Valley, we take time to understand what matters to each person we support. This thoughtful approach has helped us maintain our Outstanding CQC rating and establish a strong local reputation in Chesterfield since 2011.

Our Care Professionals don’t wear uniforms because we want visits to feel natural, like family popping around. There’s time to fill the bird feeder together, prepare a favourite meal, or enjoy a walk to the local shops. Rather than rushing through tasks, we take time to do things together, maintaining independence while building genuine friendships. Whether it’s an hour a week or daily visits, we fit around your routines and preferences.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

The value of our approach is captured by one client’s daughter: “Dad has benefitted greatly from having new people around him, bringing different interests and experiences into the conversations. The carers are organised and experienced in delivering the right level of support, without taking control so that my dad can still feel independent within his own home.” It’s feedback like this that highlights the importance of companionship and personal connections.

Our Chesterfield-based office team is always here to keep families updated, which is especially reassuring for those living further afield. As one family member noted: “They have been responsive, flexible and supportive during what has been a difficult time. We enjoy them being there when we are there too and we love that they don’t wear uniforms!” It’s this attention to detail and open communication that sets us apart.
After more than 13 years in Chesterfield, we’re deeply connected to our community – from our team’s recent 15,000-foot charity skydive raising £1,000 for older adults, to our valuable connections with local support groups like Memory Lane Café and Elder’s Voice. We’re active members of the Dementia-Friendly Chesterfield Group and are proud Chesterfield Champions, we also work closely with local healthcare professionals, Ashgate Hospice, and Age UK to ensure care feels joined up. From our regular summer party to supporting clients in attending local groups, we understand exactly how to keep our clients connected to the community they love.
