Personal care might include help with morning and evening routines, support with bathing or showering, assistance with medications, or help with mobility. We never rush these intimate moments – each visit lasts at least an hour, giving time to do things at your own pace. Our Care Professionals quickly become familiar, trusted faces who understand your preferences, whether that’s which shower gel you prefer, the tie you like for a trip out for Sunday lunch or how you like your hair styled!
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

At Home Instead we ensure that each client has a small team of Care Professionals in place to provide you with care so you can be confident that you will have continuity from the same Care Professionals.
At Home Instead, we have a robust approach to ensuring that all Care Professionals have regular observations of practice that we call Support Visits, and assessments of competency for key activities such as handling medication or providing catheter care.
