We've been amazed, awed and astonished by Luke Jerram's Mars installation at Chichester Cathedral!
What a fantastic time we’ve had at Chichester Cathedral this month! Our Care Professionals and clients alike have been wowed by Installation artist Luke Jerram’s immersive Mars exhibition.
Mars is a touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram.
Measuring seven metres in diameter, the artwork features detailed NASA imagery* of the Martian surface. Each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 10 kilometres of the surface of Mars.
The artwork allows visitors to view Mars from the air, every valley, crater, volcano and mountain allowing us imagine what it’s like to step foot on this incredible planet.
We always love sharing magic moments with our clients, and exhibitions like this are a fantastic way to get out and about, have fun and learn something new! Clients and care pros alike have taken precious memories away with them, and shared in the magic of this utterly astonishing art!
One Care Professional remarked, “It really is so much fun to be able to share experiences like this with my clients, and we’re sure to be talking about our trip for a long time to come!”
At Home Instead we recognise the importance of remaining active and keeping in touch with community and local events. It is our pleasure and our privilege to help our clients to access these. Our client matching service means we select care professionals for our clients who share mutual interests and passions, making that trip out even more enjoyable in the company of a like-minded companion!
