We have been lucky to welcome Ameen Zaadane to the office over the last two days. Ameen has spent his time here at Home Instead Chingford with each of our office team members to understand their role and how everything contributes to Home Instead Chingford being able to deliver Quality Care to your loved ones.
When we think about care services, we often picture the compassionate caregivers who work directly with clients. However, behind every successful care service provider, there is a dedicated team working tirelessly in the office to ensure everything runs smoothly.
“This week I had the opportunity to spend some time at the Home Instead office in Chingford, getting to know the team and understanding the critical roles they play in delivering exceptional care.”
What did you enjoy most about work experience?
“I enjoyed meeting everyone in the office and gaining an understanding of what each role offers”
Did any role surprise you?
“Josephs role was interesting as I saw the importance of detail when managing the data and files.”
What did you learn about work life?
“I understood the importance of having a job you are passionate about”
What have you learnt at Home Instead?
“I have begun to explore the different types of care that are both needed and available. I have learnt that at Home Instead Chingford the company provides three different types of care which includes Domiciliary care which includes housekeeping, day/night care. Specialist care which involves dealing with client’s different needs e.g. they have Alzheimer’s, dementia. Health care which includes nail care and dealing with the client’s medication.”
What was your experience of the working environment?
“The office is very busy but with the team’s communication and coordination it runs smoothly. My biggest take away from the few days were being able to see the Home Instead mission come to life. “To Brighten the lives of ageing adults giving them a sense of purpose, well-being and worth”
