It was a great privilege to be able to deliver our professionally-provided Dementia Awareness Training courses to more of the local community!
At Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley, we have an ongoing commitment to community health and wellbeing by providing Dementia Awareness Training courses, free of charge. It is always a pleasure to be invited along to events where we can deliver this. Just like we have done in partnership with the Talkin’ Tables group in Chorley.
The training session consisted of focusing on key aspects of Dementia, including the types, symptoms, and progression. All in efforts to make sure that the increasing trend of people with Dementia is tackled by earlier diagnosis!
We hope that everyone who attended the informative session came away with valuable insights into how to recognise the stages of Dementia and to support the loved ones that might be living with it every day.
We believe that raising awareness about dementia is crucial for building a more compassionate and informed community. We want to say a big thank you to Deana, the leader of the Chorley Talkin’ Tables group for inviting us along. It is always a pleasure to be able to be engaging in the local community in such a way like this.
If you are an organisation, charity, or a group of individuals who think you would benefit from receiving our free Dementia Awareness Training courses, then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Call us on 01695 589071 or email [email protected] – we would be more than happy to discuss arranging a training session with you.
