'Outstanding' for 10 Years!

Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley, are celebrating an amazing milestone – our 10th anniversary, being rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are especially proud to have been the first domiciliary care provider in England to originally receive the Outstanding recognition back in 2015.

This achievement is not just a reflection of our team’s tremendous hard work, but also of our commitment to consistently provide high-quality, person-centred care.

Over the past decade, we have worked hard to secure our CQC Outstanding rating with on-site and remote inspections and building a reputation for excellence in our local community.

Our Care Professionals and Key Players consistently go above and beyond to try and make sure that our wonderful Clients receive high quality care and support in the familiarity and comfort of their own homes, and we proudly dedicate today’s achievement to our Care Professionals.

Whether through providing essential medication or much needed companionship, our team plays a pivotal role in the day to day lives of those we support.

Reflecting on the journey that has brought us here, we are reminded of the families who trust us to care for their loved ones, and the incredible teamwork that makes this milestone possible. We could not have reached this pinnacle without the dedication and professionalism of our staff, their commitment and support of our Clients, and their families who allow us to be such a vital part of their lives.

Looking ahead, we are determined to try and maintain our high quality service levels and “Outstanding” standards of adult social care and are committed to a continuous improvement culture, striving to learn from mistakes and trying to enhance the quality of service we provide, so that those in our community continue to receive high quality adult social care and support services that are compassionate, respectful, and tailored to their actual needs.

We are excited to continue making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of those we serve for many years to come, holding respect, dignity, and quality at the centre of everything we try to do.
