Service Quality - Open Letter (17th July 2024)

Please see our most recent letter that was sent out to all members of staff (Care Professionals and Key Players), regarding the upcoming Franchise Standards Audit.

Service Quality – Open Letter (17th July 2024)

To All Staff,

I am writing to inform you that our Home Instead National Office team will be conducting our annual Franchise Standards Audit, commencing on 6th August 2024.

As in previous years, the Audit will cover National Office Franchise Standards – ranging from: operations, compliance – to all UK Gov regulatory requirements, finance, and HR including complaints and grievances (available on your MLC account, under documents).
I am writing to reassure you that we welcome the regular Home Instead Franchise Standard Audit, as we do with all inspections from National Office and or all UK Gov regulatory bodies involved in care.

Having now been successfully supporting our clients for over thirteen years, you can imagine that during that time, numerous Home Instead and UK Gov regulatory bodies have visited our premises and conducted detailed and thorough inspections, including the CQC who also now conduct arm’s length reviews and we remain immensely proud of both our former and current staff who have consistently delivered high quality care services on behalf of our lovely clients and ensured that we remain compliant with both UK Gov and Home Instead standards.

Please be aware that you might be called upon as part of this Franchise Standard Audit, but this is nothing to be worried or concerned about. Some of you might recall a National Office Team visited our office at the start of this year, auditing our work on the transition to the ‘birdie’ back-office system.

We look upon such visits as positive, and they feature as part of our continuous improvement plans, remaining ready at any time to fully cooperate with and support our National Office team as we do all UK Gov regulatory bodies.

Should you have any concerns with regards to this year’s Home Instead audit process, then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,

Rebecca Davies
(Registered Care Manager)
