Tackling the Deficit in Dementia Care

From our specialist team of Care Professionals, to our FREE Community Guides and Dementia Awareness Training, we are always striving for a more Dementia-friendly community...

A recent report in 2024 from the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) brings light to the significant challenges faced by Dementia carers. The survey they conducted states that over a third of those caring for loved one’s report receiving little to no support after diagnosis. Many carers feel ‘isolated, heartbroken and overwhelmed’. The report highlights the critical need for better support systems and states the benefits of community-based programs that provide respite and social engagement.
