Events and More – Coming Soon

Our Home Instead Dartford events aim to bring people together, promote health and well-being, and spread awareness of important issues affecting our community.

We’re always working on our activities to meet the needs of our clients and our community. More upcoming activities and events we are planning include:

  • Seated Chair Yoga: This is a gentle form of exercise, accessible for all and especially suitable for those with mobility challenges.
  • SCAM Awareness Sessions: These are educational sessions that focus on the dangers of scams and how to see the warning signs for them.

  • Our Community Dementia Workshops and CPR Skills Sessions: We continue to offer our highly successful free workshops across Dartford and surrounding areas in the community.

Both sessions can be organised for free for your community, church group, school group or workplace, and both sessions also run regularly at The Meeting Room in The Orchard Shopping Centre in Dartford, with upcoming dates on 21 September and 19 October. All are welcome to attend. Please get in touch to learn more on 01322 923750.

  • The Community Dementia Workshop, led by our owner and Dementia Champion Ram, is a one-hour session that simplifies complex concepts about dementia, covering topics such as types of dementia, understanding behaviours, and support mechanisms.

The CPR Skills Session, also less than an hour, teaches vital life-saving skills including hands-only CPR, emergency response, defibrillator use, and how to put someone in the recovery position.
