Our Care Professionals at Home Instead Dartford often become trusted friends who can help with everything from tending to the garden, walking the dog, or driving you to the local garden centre. Our local companionship care is always tailored to you. For some, this means walks along The Promenade in Gravesend, an accessible walk in Joyden’s Wood, or a visit to Erith Pier. Others enjoy doing the crossword with their Care Professional over a cup of tea. As one client’s daughter shared on homecare.co.uk: “My mum has built up a good rapport with the caregivers and looks forward to their visits. It has been a very positive experience and they always keep me informed about how she is getting on. Excellent service.” We always love to hear how our unhurried visits and thoughtful matching process make all the difference.

Behind every friendly face is a thoroughly trained professional. Our team, led by Ram and Christina, receives comprehensive training that goes beyond just practical skills. We’re particularly proud that many of our Care Professionals have been with us for years, creating lasting friendships with their clients. Being CQC regulated and achieving recognition in the 2024 Kent Care Awards shows our commitment to combining professional excellence with genuine warmth. Our team also runs awareness workshops in the community, including dementia awareness, scam awareness, and CPR Skills sessions, at regular venues such as The Orchard Shopping Centre and on request.
Companionship is also about staying connected to your whole community. That’s why we help our clients and older adults stay involved in local life, whether it’s attending our Silver Birch lunch clubs, our Singing and Music Making Sessions at St. John’s Hall in Erith or attending community events. We can provide transport and accompaniment to help make sure you never miss out on the activities and connections that matter to you.
