Join us for an exciting day of fun and community spirit in Dudley!
We’re thrilled to invite you to a day full of excitement and community spirit at the upcoming Community Fun Day in Dudley. This event is happening on August 24th at Priory Park and Pavilion, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. We’ll be there with a Home Instead Dudley stand and would love to meet you. Put the date in your calendars for a fun-packed day for all ages that you won’t want to miss!

Activities for everyone at Priory Park
Whether you love sports, games, crafts or simply looking for a fun day out, the Community Fun Day will have something for everyone, including:
Friendly matches in football, tennis, basketball, and dodgeball
Face painting, a bouncy castle, and Childrens fun fair
Tombola and raffle
Craft stalls
Refreshments
There will even be a good old fashioned Tug of War! Gather your friends, family, or neighbours and see who can pull their way to victory!

You can also find out more about us at our Home Instead Dudley stall, you’ll see our purple colours and we’ll be selling children’s bubbles, wands, punch balls and more and you’ll be supporting a good cause as every purchase at our stall supports Home Instead Charities!

Discovering Priory Park
Here are a few fun facts about this wonderful location for the Community Fun Day:
- The park is named after the ruins of Dudley Priory, a Benedictine priory founded in the 12th century.
- The ancient ruins still stand within the park, and offer a glimpse into Dudley’s rich medieval past.
- The park is designated nationally as a Grade II Park and Garden of Special Historic Interest.
- In the second world war the park housed anti-air craft guns and allotments were dug up.
- Priory Park has beautiful landscaped gardens, mature trees, and wide-open spaces, making it the perfect place for a family day out, for a stroll or for a local summer activity in Dudley to beat the heat.
