Be a Santa, Spread Joy This Christmas with Home Instead East Hampshire and Midhurst!

This Christmas, Home Instead East Hampshire and Midhurst invites the community to "Be a Santa" and brighten the holidays for our seniors this year!

This Christmas, Home Instead East Hampshire and Midhurst is reaching out to the community to Be a Santa and help bring some festive cheer to older people who might not otherwise receive a gift. For many seniors, the holiday season can be a lonely time, and the simple act of receiving a gift—no matter how small—can brighten their day and remind them that they are loved and cared for.

We’re asking for your help to ensure that every older person in our community feels remembered and appreciated this Christmas. By donating a small present, you can make a huge impact in someone’s life. You can drop off gifts at one of our many local centres or, for added convenience, choose a gift from our Amazon wish list, where you can have it delivered directly to us.

Drop-off Centres:

  • Bordon: Forest Community Centre, Bordon Library
  • Alton: Assembly Rooms, Resurrection Furniture, Alton Sports Centre, Alton Library, Specsavers
  • Petersfield: Taro Centre, Petersfield Specsavers
  • Liphook: Liphook Millennium Centre

Please donate your gift by Sunday, 8th December.

Your donation can be as simple as a small box of chocolates, a pair of cosy socks, or something to keep them entertained during the winter months. Each gift will be given to an older person in our community, many of whom might be isolated and could greatly benefit from the warmth and kindness your gesture brings.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and make a real difference in the lives of others. At Home Instead, we believe in the power of kindness, and there’s no better time to show that than during the Christmas season. Whether you donate a gift, spread the word, or simply take a moment to think of others, you’ll be helping to create a festive atmosphere of warmth and joy for everyone.

The impact of your donation goes beyond just the gift itself—it’s about helping to combat loneliness and ensuring that our older neighbours feel seen, valued, and part of the community. Your thoughtful contribution could be the highlight of someone’s Christmas, reminding them that they are never alone.

Join us this festive season in spreading kindness and joy. Together, we can make sure that no one feels forgotten or left out during the holidays. Let’s come together to Be a Santa and create some Christmas magic for those who need it most.

We look forward to receiving your generous gifts, and thank you in advance for your support in making this Christmas special for everyone.
