In East Lothian & Midlothian we understand that it is important for you to know that you or your loved one feels safe and well supported at home during the night. Our experienced and dedicated Care professionals are available to provide care and support overnight. Our overnight care provides as much or as little support as you need throughout the night, typically from 10pm to 8am, or flexible to suit your needs. We offer two types of overnight care: sleeping nights, where your care professional rests in a nearby room but is available whenever you need assistance. Waking nights where your carer stays awake to offer regular support all through the night and support is very much on hand as it is needed.

Why Overnight Care may be right for you
Overnight care is perfect for those who are elderly or unwell and may either require frequent assistance during the night hours. We can assist with administering medication, help reaching the bathroom or simply be that comforting presence nearby should it is needed. Overnight care is an ideal option for times when family members need to be away, ensuring you’re never without help. For those who live alone or needs nightly support, overnight care provides comfort. It helps maintain routines and supports overall well-being.
What we do to care for your loved ones
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

Keeping the home environment clean, safe, and nourishing with home-cooked meals.

Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always respecting the dignity of your loved one.

Helping your loved one move around their home safely, including transfers and positioning.

We support you to attend those important health appointments.
Community engagement
We enable you to continue to do the things you enjoy, be it a visit to the garden centre or your local art group.
Transportation
Assistance getting you from A to B, whether it be to go visit a friend or help with your shopping.
Medication management
Ensuring medicines are taken correctly and on time, supporting overall health.
