Tea Spots around East Northamptonshire

Beckworth Emporium

Beckworths is a garden center with a large conservatory-style restaurant serving food all day, their afternoon teas are particularly popular, we definitely recommend a trip! They also have a food hall selling local produce and gifts.

Wheelchair accessible – car park, entrance, toilets, and seating.

 The Falcon, Castle Ashby

The Falcon, Castle Ashby has been newly renovated by the owner’s Lord and Lady Northampton, it was originally a coaching Inn built in 1594.

This is a lovely pub/hotel to meet friends or family in the East Wing Bar or comfortable Lounge for afternoon tea in a beautiful rural setting.

Chester House Estate

Chester house is a lovely location to visit just off the A45 between Wellingborough and Rushden, it is a nationally significant heritage site where 10,000 years of human activity can be demonstrated. The farmhouse and barns have been renovated to house local shops and a tearoom with beautiful views over the Nene valley. This is great for a couple of hours or a full day out to explore the archaeological sites and antiquities in the museum. For Blue Badge holders and wheelchairs take the second entrance off the A45, Lime Avenue. Use postcode NN29 7EZ to find this entrance.
