At Home Instead Edinburgh East, it’s our special blend of care and companionship that sets us apart. We believe that consistent care brings peace of mind. You’ll always know who’s coming through the door, a familiar face, ready to make your day brighter. Our Care Professionals are matched based on shared interests and don’t wear uniforms, so when we go out together, it feels natural, relaxed, and more like family. Whether it’s accompanying you to a local club or helping with getting to the local shops, we’re there to support you in a way that feels personal and comfortable.
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of of a unique mix services to meet your needs.

A recent review from a client’s daughter reads: “Mum regularly has outings and fun with her Care Professional and looks forward to every visit. The photos and updates keep us in the loop and show how much she enjoys herself.” We take pride in moments like these, where companionship care brings joy and connection. For one client, it might be a stroll along Portobello beach and tea at The Beach House cafe. For another, it’s gardening or chatting about a favourite book. These are the simple things that make life brighter.
