Home Instead Enfield is excited to announce an inspiring partnership with Enfield County School for Girls, which will see enthusiastic Year 12 pupils joining forces to support our community-centered initiatives. This collaboration is hosted at two significant local venues—United Reformed Church Hall for our biweekly Memory Club and Enfield Town Library for the Silver Surfer Tech Hub.
Memory Club: A Haven for Cherished Memories
Our Memory Club offers a welcoming space for seniors to share cherished memories and foster connections. Held twice monthly at the United Reformed Church Hall, the club provides the elderly residents of Enfield a chance to engage in meaningful interactions with young pupils Silan, Chloe and Tilly, enhancing their social experience and bridging the generational gap.
Silver Surfer Tech Hub: Empowering Digital Exploration
The Silver Surfer Tech Hub, running on the last Friday of each month at Enfield Town Library, empowers older generations to navigate the digital world. From mastering smartphones to exploring the internet, the hub helps connect with loved ones online. This month, we were joined by Chika and Tara, who brought their tech-savvy skills to assist and inspire our participants.
A Partnership of Empathy and Respect
This partnership exemplifies the values of empathy, respect, and collaboration. The interaction between pupils and seniors fosters mutual understanding and highlights important social issues.
