Home Instead Enfield is bringing you the Dementia Bus to Brookman’s Park at the Palmers Green Festival on 01st September 2024.
This worldwide, scientifically and medically proven method of giving a person with a healthy brain an experience of what dementia might be like allows visitors to enter the world of the person and understand which simple changes need to be made to their environment to really improve lives of those living with Dementia. The tour is suitable for all ages and will help young and old to familiarise themselves with the Dementia world.
Looking from the person’s point of view and not basing practice on convenience really does build bridges between the family, friends, and carers and increase positive outcomes.
