Home Instead Epping Forest as we celebrate connection and care with our team of dedicated Care Professionals. <br />
At Home Instead Epping Forest, we love the moments when we can come together and connect face-to-face. This March, we had the pleasure of gathering our dedicated Care Professionals for a drop-in meeting at Theydon Bois Village Hall. It was a brilliant morning, filled with the warmth of familiar faces and the joy of reconnection.
While our regular Zoom meetings have been vital in keeping us connected, there is nothing like an in-person meetup to catch up and offer a hug, a joke and team support. It was heartwarming to see our team engaging face-to-face, sharing stories and insights over cups of tea, coffee, and delicious treats like cupcakes and biscuits.
A professional photographer was on hand to take some new group shots, capturing the friendly faces our clients know so well. In the coming weeks we will share them with our clients and their families. These pictures represent the collaborative spirit of our teams who care deeply about providing personalised care to our clients.
For us, it’s so much more than a job!
Highlighting the event was the celebration of long-standing service milestones achieved by our fantastic Care Professionals, Kevin and Jean, who have each dedicated 12 years to serving the community with Home Instead. The morning was made even more special as they received a framed collage print of their journey with us and a well-deserved anniversary bonus. Their commitment and passion are inspiring to us all.
Debbie, our Training and Recruitment Manager, brought valuable training materials and provided training demonstrations and advice. Her hands-on approach not only addressed immediate queries but also reinforced our commitment to continuous professional development.
We introduced a new training course on Music Therapy, expertly presented by Maureen, our Community Relations Manager. Understanding the therapeutic benefits of music, especially for our clients living with dementia, this course is designed to enhance the care experience and overall wellbeing.
As the meeting drew to a close, each Care Professional was gifted an early Easter present: a chocolate Easter egg, a token of our appreciation for their hard work and dedication – and our shared love of chocolate! They also took additional supplies of PPE, ensuring their safety and readiness for the valuable work they do every day.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for more compassionate individuals to join our team of Care Professionals. If you’re interested in making a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Victoria at [email protected], call us at 01992 666777, or apply directly through our website.
It’s not just caring, it’s connection.
