Summer Line Dance Success at Home Instead Epping Forest

Last week, Home Instead Epping Forest hosted a delightful Summer Special Line Dance at Theydon Bois Village Hall. After the resounding success of last year’s Summer Tea Dance and our Valentine’s Dance earlier this year, it was wonderful to see so many people come together for an afternoon of fun, music, and dancing.

We were thrilled to welcome back Emma and Martin from Steps Ahead Dance Academy as our special guests. They demonstrated some easy and enjoyable line dance steps, encouraging everyone to join in. The enthusiasm was brilliant, and soon, the dance floor was filled with guests moving to the lively country-style music. Adding to the fun, many attendees donned cowboy hats, which brought an extra touch of charm and laughter to the event. For those who remained seated, there was plenty of foot-tapping, hand-clapping, and singing along. It was amazing to see the smiles and laughter on people’s faces, highlighting the positive impact of music and social interaction on both mental and physical wellbeing.

A professional photographer captured the joy and excitement of the event beautifully, and we’re grateful for these lovely photos that help us cherish the memories of this wonderful afternoon.

Heartwarming Feedback

One of our amazing care professionals, Sharon, shared some touching feedback from the event:

“Just wanted to let you know how Iris and Geoff thought this afternoon was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done! P.S. I did too!”
