Welcoming Yoshi To Our Team

We are thrilled to announce a delightful new addition to our Home Instead Epping Forest office team – meet Yoshi, our cockapoo puppy!

Yoshi has quickly become a beloved member of our office family, brightening each day with his playful spirit and charming personality.

At Home Instead Epping Forest, we understand the great impact that therapy dogs can have on emotional wellbeing. Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of hosting Baloo, a therapy dog from Essex Therapy Dogs, at our Memory Lane Café in June. The experience was nothing short of magical as our clients thoroughly enjoyed meeting Baloo, petting him, and engaging in heartwarming conversations. The joy and connection he brought were truly remarkable.

Research supports what we’ve seen firsthand in that therapy dogs can evoke memories and stimulate meaningful conversations. They have a unique ability to reduce stress, combat feelings of isolation, and create social relationships among clients. Many of our clients have cherished memories of their own pets and find immense comfort in the company of dogs, even if they are no longer able to care for a pet themselves.

With Yoshi’s arrival, we hope to replicate that joy and companionship. Our goal is to have Yoshi trained as a therapy dog, allowing him to visit clients who would love the opportunity to meet him. We believe that Yoshi’s gentle nature and playful demeanour will bring smiles to many faces and create wonderful interactions.

As Yoshi embarks on his training journey, we’ll keep you updated on his progress. We can’t wait to share more about his adventures and the positive impact he will have.
