Independence, Comfort and Care at Home in Fareham and Gosport

At Home Instead Fareham and Gosport, our personalised care helps people stay independent at home.

It’s the sound of the birds in the morning, your favourite mug by the kettle, and the memories held within four walls. It’s where routines bring comfort and where most people simply feel more like themselves.

At Home Instead Fareham and Gosport, we help people stay where they belong – at home. With compassionate, professional care tailored to each individual, we focus on preserving independence, dignity, and choice.

Support That’s Tailored Around You

No two people are the same and neither is the care we provide. Whether it’s a bit of help once a week or daily assistance with more complex needs, we build our support around the individual.

Across areas like Portchester, Stubbington, Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent, we help clients:

  • Get outside for a stroll to the local shops
  • Enjoy a favourite hobby with someone who shares their interests
  • Maintain morning and evening routines with dignity and consistency
  • Stay connected to the community, friends, and family

We carefully match each Care Professional based not only on experience, but also on personality and interests, so care feels natural, not clinical.

Time to Care, Time to Connect

We believe care should never feel rushed. That’s why we prioritise unhurried visits and a consistent team of Care Professionals, so relationships can grow. Whether that’s sharing stories from the Navy, laughing about something on the telly, or quietly supporting someone through a challenging day, our Care Professionals are there as people first.

It’s not just care, it’s connection.

Part of the Local Picture

Our team is deeply involved in the community because quality care extends beyond the home. We regularly work alongside local groups to raise awareness around dementia, support carers, and promote wellbeing.

Some of our local initiatives include:

– Friendship & Memory Cafes to socialise and connect over tea and cake

– ‘Sing to Remember’ groups to help those with memory loss

– Seasonal events and celebrations

In April, we will be celebrating Easter with special events and activities, creating Easter cards, and making chicks and bunnies from pine cones. We will also be honouring William Wordsworth’s birthday by listening to poetry. Special easter refreshments will be provided.

We promote a whole calendar of events and activities to help our clients connect and enjoy life to the fullest.

The Right Care at the Right Time

Needs change and we’re ready when they do. Our Care Professionals are trained to provide specialist support with empathy and professionalism, including:

✔ Dementia and Alzheimer’s care, focused on comfort and continuity
✔ Personal support that prioritises dignity
Post-hospital recovery to ease the transition home

We regularly review care plans to ensure they continue to reflect what matters most to each person.

A Service Built on Trust

We’re proud of the recognition our service has received, but what matters most is the trust our clients and families place in us every day. With tools like our Family App, loved ones can stay updated in real time, knowing care is being delivered with professionalism and heart.
