We’re teaming up with other home care companies to help find some superstars in the home care sector.
Every home carer is an icon in their own right, but we’re celebrating those who have a talent that they can showcase on stage, with our newly launched Homecare’s Got Talent competition. Whether they’re good at singing, dancing or juggling, home carers have the chance to compete in our regional heats, before the most impressive are selected to take part in the grand final.
Carers will compete for a £1,000 cash prize, an all-inclusive holiday for two, an opportunity to mingle with an impressive panel of judges and the chance to perform at Carefest, an event recognising carers, nurses, doctors, emergency services and other healthcare workers across the country.
Martin Jones MBE, Home Instead UK and International’s CEO said: “We’re delighted to be lending our support to Homecare’s Got Talent which, I am sure, will showcase some amazing talent.
“Those who work in care are already skilled individuals, but this is a unique opportunity to celebrate other talents they may possess, from juggling to singing and everything in between. As chair of the Care Workers’ Charity, I’m delighted that they have been chosen as the beneficiary. Thank you for supporting us.”
Home carers are being encouraged to send a short video showcasing their talent via WhatsApp to 07510 928923.
The event is sponsored by Celo, OneTouch, Autumna, Howden, Raring2go! and We Care Communications, and is supported by The AA. All proceeds go to The Care Workers Charity.
